Fran Paffard is a former Senior Lecturer in Early Years at the University of East London and works as a freelance consultant. She has also worked as a Regional Adviser for the National Strategies, an Early Years Advisory Teacher, EMAS advisory teacher, a primary and nursery teacher, a playgroup worker and worked with children with learning difficulties. She has written articles for TACTYC, Early Education, and Early Years Educator, and chapters in The Early Years: A Reader, and Desirable Literacies.
